Solar nations, lunar religions

National calendars are always solar. Religious calendars are always lunar. India’s national solar calendar is similar to that of Iran. Somehow, by studying the Shaka people I learned about this calendar. But does anyone even take it seriously? Nobody has said anything about it. I just stumbled on it. Further, it offers no advantages over GPC, but it is an improvement over the Gregorian Calendar. It starts in the spring. The days in each month are simpler, just like in Iran. In Iran the school year is based off their solar calendar, which is based on the seasons. This makes planning easier for Iranians. Just as Ethiopians are the powerhouse of Africa because of better time management, so too is Iran a force to be reckoned with due only to their improved calendar. Does the Shaka have an impact here? Is the school system based on it?

Why GPC is more useful

Reasons why GPC is more useful:

• It is perennial. This affects everything: programming, planning, clearer communication.
• BC/AD confusion solved. The Shaka Calendar has a different dating system that still has this problem. This is a problem with both the Iranian and Indian solar calendar. They are fairly newly invented systems that still have not solved this. So now people have to juggle more systems and these issues still are not solved.

Three starts in March

GPC starts with the creation of the world, similar to the metric system, which is based off the dimensions of planet Earth. Hence both systems are ideal for the planet we inhabit. The Shaka Calendar starts its year 0 in the year 78 CE, corresponding to the Shaka era. The Iranian Calendar starts its year 0 in the year 622 CE. That date is the Hijra: the migration from Mecca to Medina. It is year 1 of the Islamic calendar, not the birth of Mohammed. All three begin in March. The Iranian Calendar is the most efficient way for Muslims to analyze the life of Mohammed, as the Muslim lunar calendar drifts, having no system for leap years. Thus it is the least efficient calendar that has ever existed in human history. The Persian keyboard and writing system is also more efficient and logical than that of the Arabs.

Gandhi’s solar dream

The fact that Iran, India, and Saudi Arabia represent three different religions, each with its respective lunar calendar for religious use, have chosen to advocate their own solar calendar distinct from one another, speaks volumes. The logical global calendar that Gandhi dreamed of for uniting humanity must be solar.

मार्च में तीन आरंभ

GPC संसार की रचना से शुरू होता है, जैसे मीट्रिक प्रणाली पृथ्वी के आयामों पर आधारित है। इसलिए दोनों प्रणालियाँ इस ग्रह के लिए आदर्श हैं। शक पंचांग अपना वर्ष 0 वर्ष 78 ईसवी में शुरू करता है, जो शक संवत् से जुड़ा है। ईरानी पंचांग अपना वर्ष 0 वर्ष 622 ईसवी में शुरू करता है। वह तिथि हिजरा है: मक्का से मदीना का प्रवास। यह इस्लामी पंचांग का वर्ष 1 है, मुहम्मद का जन्म नहीं। तीनों मार्च में शुरू होते हैं। मुसलमानों के लिए मुहम्मद के जीवन का विश्लेषण ईरानी पंचांग सबसे कुशल तरीका है, क्योंकि मुस्लिम चंद्र पंचांग खिसकता रहता है और उसमें अधिवर्ष की व्यवस्था नहीं है। इसलिए मानव इतिहास का यह सबसे अकुशल पंचांग है। फ़ारसी कुंजीपटल और लेखन प्रणाली भी अरबों से अधिक कुशल और तार्किक है।

Los calendarios nacionales siempre son solares. Los calendarios religiosos siempre son lunares. El calendario solar nacional de la India es similar al de Irán. De algún modo, al estudiar al pueblo Shaka conocí este calendario. ¿Alguien lo toma en serio? Nadie ha dicho nada. Tropecé con él. Así como Etiopía es una potencia en África por una mejor gestión del tiempo, Irán también lo es solo por un calendario mejor. ¿Tiene impacto el Shaka aquí? ¿Se basa en él el sistema escolar?

Por qué GPC es más útil

Razones por las que GPC es más útil:

• Es perenne. Eso afecta a todo: programación, planificación, comunicación más clara.
• Confusión a.C./d.C. resuelta. El calendario Shaka tiene otro sistema de datación que sigue con este problema. Es un problema del calendario solar iraní y del indio. Son sistemas bastante nuevos que aún no lo han resuelto. Ahora la gente tiene que manejar más sistemas y estos problemas siguen sin resolverse.

Tres inicios en marzo

GPC empieza con la creación del mundo, similar al sistema métrico, basado en las dimensiones del planeta Tierra. Por eso ambos sistemas son ideales para el planeta que habitamos. El calendario Shaka pone su año 0 en el año 78 d.C., correspondiente a la era Shaka. El calendario iraní pone su año 0 en el año 622 d.C. Esa fecha es la Hégira: la migración de La Meca a Medina. Es el año 1 del calendario islámico, no el nacimiento de Mahoma. Los tres empiezan en marzo. El calendario iraní es la forma más eficiente para que los musulmanes analicen la vida de Mahoma, porque el calendario lunar musulmán se desplaza y no tiene sistema de años bisiestos. Así es el calendario menos eficiente que ha existido en la historia humana. El teclado y el sistema de escritura persas también son más eficientes y lógicos que los de los árabes.

El sueño solar de Gandhi

El hecho de que Irán, la India y Arabia Saudí representen tres religiones distintas, cada una con su calendario lunar para uso religioso, y aun así hayan elegido promover su propio calendario solar distinto, dice mucho. El calendario global lógico que Gandhi soñó para unir a la humanidad debe ser solar.
